Professor Yang Juhua from Minzu University of China Visits the School of Public Policy and Management to Guide the Application for National Social Science Foundation Projects
On December 26, 2025, the "Special Guidance on the Application for National Social Science Foundation Projects" co-sponsored by the Office of Social Sciences of Nanchang University and the School of Public Policy and Management was held in Room A309 of the Arts and Law Building. Professor Yang Juhua, Chief Expert of Major Projects of the National Social Science Foundation from Minzu University of China, was invited to serve as the guiding expert.
Based on the reports of each applicant teacher, Professor Yang Juhua provided systematic and targeted guidance on the title, basis for topic selection, research content, innovations, expected achievements, research foundation, references and other aspects, conducted in-depth exchanges with the applicant teachers, and answered their questions about project application in detail.
Professor Yang Juhua emphasized that the topic selection must have sufficient academic appeal and practical value, with a novel perspective and clear research questions. In terms of research methods, it is necessary to make efficient use of existing authoritative public data, supplemented by necessary qualitative materials such as in-depth interviews, to form a solid empirical support. Applicants should pay attention to disciplinary positioning and carefully select the most competitive and suitable application discipline according to the research content.
