Main Research Areas and Directions: focuses on local governance in China , with primary expertise in urban and rural community governance, public policy, government institutional development, and petition governance. I was one of the earliest scholars in China to approach petition governance from a public administration perspective.

Major Academic Achievements:

I currently serve as an Expert Committee Member of the Third National Expert Committee on Political Power and Community Construction under the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Additionally, I hold positions as a Council Member of the Chinese Public Administration Society, a Council Member of the Chinese Political Science Association, Vice President of the Jiangxi Public Administration Society, and Vice President of the Jiangxi Political Science Association.

I have had the opportunity to conduct academic visits and exchanges at several universities abroad, including Deakin University (Australia), The Ohio State University (USA), Fukuoka University (Japan), University of Indonesia, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and National Sun Yat-sen University (Taiwan).

In terms of research leadership, I have directed and completed 2 projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China and over 20 provincial/ministerial-level projects for agencies such as the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

My scholarly work includes over 100 academic papers published in journals like Political Science Research, Chinese Public Administration, and Open Times, with several being fully reprinted by publications such as the Social Science Academic Abstracts of Higher Education Institutions and the Reprinted Materials by Renmin University. I am also the author of 4 monographs published by presses including People's Publishing House and China Social Sciences Press.

My recognitions include a First Prize and a Second Prize of the Jiangxi Teaching Achievement Award; a First Prize for Excellent Paper from the Ministry of Civil Affairs; and two Second Prizes and three Third Prizes of the Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Achievement Award in Social Sciences.

I serve as a peer reviewer for the National Social Science Fund and the Ministry of Education. I have also participated as a third-party evaluation expert for poverty county exit assessments commissioned by the National Administration for Rural Revitalization (formerly the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development) and was honored with the "Outstanding Individual" commendation from the State Council Leading Group. Furthermore, I am a review expert for the Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Fund and regularly participate in evaluating its major bidding and commissioned projects.
